2009
will be rich in great events at Marle (Aisne) :
In May, August, and September, the new Merovingian days.
In June, the Living History Festival with a surprising
and original program.
e
know how to mix unique and qualified ingredients to create an exceptional historical
actuality.
Beside the Merovingian Days, we regularly organize historical
re-enactment events from other periods of the European history (for example :
Vikings days in May).
The great success winned near a large public is
a fabulous reward for the considerable work of passionate persons so intransigent
about Authenticity, Quality
of the reconstitutions, and historical Veracity : no
anachronical fantasy allowed.
The organizers' and re-enactment groups
ambition to reproduce former gestures and habits confirmed by famous archeologists,
historians or specialists : it is what we call experimental
archaeology.
Join us at our next edition of the Living History
Festival and you will discover spectacles and demonstrations completely unique
and impressive !
